What is a Career Academy?
Location– Students take specific career and technical courses at the college for a block of time.
Credit - Both college credit and high school credit are awarded.
Cost - The high school pays the tuition, fees and textbook costs.
Enrollment - Contact your high school counselor for approval, and then submit an Application for Admission/Contracted Class form to Ellsworth Community College or Marshalltown Community College. Some courses have a minimum score requirement on the P-SAT, ACT or COMPASS.
