ECC ranked as one of the top colleges in the nation!
Ellsworth Community College has been ranked as one of the top schools in the United States for its efforts in preparing students to attend a four-year institution. A new CNN Money report ranks ECC as 17th best in the nation, with 68 percent of its students transferring to a four-year college or university.
Ellsworth is tied with Pearl River Community College in Mississippi and Rend Lake College in Illinois.
“We are exceedingly proud of our faculty and staff for the excellence they demonstrate in helping our students be successful,” says Dr. Nancy Muecke, ECC Provost. “We take pride in being a smaller community college where our students know us and we know them. Our students expect a quality education, and they get the assistance and encouragement they need to complete their academic program here and transfer successfully to a baccalaureate degree program. With approximately 80 percent of our students working on a Liberal Arts & Science transfer degree, we’re proud to let them know that we’re one of the best colleges in the country in terms of being able to help them meet their college goals.”
Ellsworth Community College ranked 19th in the same report last year.
