Live on campus!
More than 400 of Ellsworth's 1,100 students live on campus. If you ask them, they'll tell you there are lots of activities to do, and that living on campus makes the walk to class easy and quick. Students will also say that lasting friendships are made from all the housing activities held throughout the year.
The goal of the residence life program at Ellsworth Community College is to help you grow as a person and be ready for that next step in your life.
Because the residence hall experience is an integral part of students' education, all full-time, first-year students who are under age 21 and not heads of households, or not living with their parents or guardians, are required to live on campus. By learning to live and work effectively with fellow residents, students become better citizens.
There are two residence halls and two apartment-style buildings on campus. Wall Hall houses 104 students and is co-ed. Thompson Hall houses 192 male students. The College Apartments house 76 students in a co-ed environment, and the new College Suites house 39 students in co-ed suites and three single units. Check out the facilities by clicking through the "virtual tour" at the bottom of this page.
