Student Senate

The Student Senate is the voice of the student body and operates under the officially adopted constitution. All students are eligible to vote in the annual election of members.

The Senate provides a clearinghouse for students' plans, ideas and sentiments; gives the students a larger representative voice in the affairs of the college; and fosters a responsible organization through which students and faculty may be brought together in mutual and helpful cooperation. Student Senate members will receive college credit for participation, and elected Senate members will receive a scholarship for serving
