Iowa Valley Community College Grinnell is conveniently located at 123 6th Avenue West in Grinnell and has been serving the Poweshiek County area since 1993 as part of Iowa Valley Community College District. The IVCC Grinnell campus makes it convenient to earn college credit through Marshalltown Community College - without the drive.
The fully-upgraded facility features unique learning studios with wall-to-wall white boards, wireless technology, office style seating on wheels, and versatile tables. One classroom, equipped with oversized soft seating, is especially a hit with students. Throughout the facility, colors and design elements reflect the natural world and there are gathering corners, booths, and benches that make student and faculty interaction the norm.
MaryAnne Zanella Nickle, M.Ed., was named the Dean of IVCC Grinnell on Dec. 13, 2010. She came to Iowa after serving as the Dean of the Community College of Denver, CO, for six and a half years.

IVCC Grinnell's degree programs include Liberal Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Industrial Maintenance Technology, and Paralegal. In 2011, IVCC Grinnell will also offer an Automotive Technology program.
