Business teams, boards, trustees, community groups and more can take advantage of the unique hands-on leadership development tool, Iowa Valley Adventures Challenge Course, with training in teamwork to help strengthen your performances with experiential learning and group challenges.
Leadership Training for Individuals
If you are ready to take your next step on the leadership ladder, Iowa Valley Continuing Education offers three interactive leadership development programs. The goals of all leadership training programs are similar; they focus on community and individual development.
Participants learn about local issues and resources. The classes give you the opportunity to interact with other leaders in the community and establish valuable network connections that will help you be a stronger leader in the future. You will have the chance to become further committed to local activities with increased confidence for seeking and leading change. You will gain interpersonal growth through hands-on experiences with teamwork skills plus a commitment to action for the community well-being.
Strong leadership skills help you gain the respect of your coworkers and supervisors, and will help you climb the career ladder, if you choose. Your personal commitment to attend the monthly sessions for eight months and your employer's willingness to support your time and the tuition will make this a rewarding step to take in your life. Classes begin in September and conclude in May. Choose the location that is most convenient for you.
