Basic Web Page Development
In this course, you will learn the essential concepts of HTML and web page construction. You will begin with developing basic Web pages and move on to developing more complex pages using tables, frames, style sheets, and multimedia. By the end of the class, you will have constructed a multipage web site. Approximately half of each class will be devoted to the introduction and explanation of a new topic with the second devoted to hands on effort using the concepts introduced. Students are encouraged to suggest programs they would like to develop for personal use as the goal of class completion. A general familiarity with computers and standard programs such Microsoft Word or Excel is all that is required for this course. If you want to build your own web page, you can learn how!
