Caring for the terminally ill and helping families cope can be very rewarding. You'll gain a better understanding of hospice; emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of death; communication; home care; funeral planning, and bereavement in this class. PS-MAPP: Foster/Adoptive Training
This 30-hour training is for new and prospective foster and adoptive parents working with the Department of Human Services. You will learn about the foster/adoptive care system, the role of the a foster/adoptive parent, the impact on other family members and children, and about parenting children with special needs.
