Dousing - An Ancient Practice
Steve Meyer is President of his Genealogy Society and the Pioneer Cemetery Association. He says, “You can douse for anything that’s buried.” He has his own explanation for why dousing works. But one thing is certain, Steve’s gift has made him extremely valuable in cemeteries where there is a need to discover unmarked graves. His gift allows him to tell if the grave is that of a woman or a man, an adult or a child. If you would like to know more about this ancient practice, enroll now and plan to meet at the King Tower Cafe parking lot and then travel to a pioneer cemetery. The rain date for this class is Thursday, August 22.
