English as a Second Language (ESL)
Learning English is hard, but Iowa Valley Continuing Education offers classes for people who do not speak English as their first language - and it makes the learning enjoyable. The ESL classes are offered in several communities including Iowa Falls, Grinnell, Marshalltown and Tama.
ESL classes are offered at several levels: for beginners, intermediates and advanced speakers. The lessons cover speaking, reading, listening and writing. The class environment is supportive and students encourage each other, making it fun. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are for persons from any country or culture.
