Poweshiek Leadership Program
Poweshiek County residents are encouraged to participate in the Poweshiek Leadership Program (PLP). The PLP program meets nine times from September through May. The session topics are: The Leader Within, Community Resources, Our Agricultural Economy, We The People, It Takes A Village, Education Recruitment and Retention, It's Your Turn, County and Local Governance, Tenth Annual Golf Outing, and Embrace The Challenge.

The PLP program is co-sponsored by Iowa Valley Continuing Education, Poweshiek Iowa Development/Pow I-80, ISU/Poweshiek County Extension, and Imagine Grinnell.

Tama County Leadership Program
Join this exciting program for new and seasoned leaders in Tama County. Enhance your ability to lead while increasing your knowledge and understanding of county-wide issues. Tama County Leadership Program meets the second Thursday of each month (Sept. 2012 – May 2013) from 8:30 – 10:30 am at the State Bank of Toledo.
Goals:
• Unite emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of community issues.
• Broaden a collective vision of a better county-wide community.

Register for the entire program – Course #CPD 3500 002 or for separate sessions (see flyer below). Applicants are encouraged to check with their employing organization about financial sponsorships.
