The mission of service-learning at Marshalltown Community College is directly related to the core values of the college, particularly the value of Partnerships: We build. Service-Learning Coordinator

As an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer, Michelle Boyd is working in conjunction with Marshalltown Community College as its Service-Learning Coordinator. Michelle is focused on developing the foundation of a sustainable service-learning program in order to fulfill the needs of the community and the college. Her major responsibilities are networking with community partners to establish contacts and opportunities for engagement, assisting faculty with the implementation of service-learning into their courses, and coordinating students involved with service-learning.
