Marshalltown Community College is part of the Iowa Valley Community College District. The campus is located just to the south of Marshalltown along Highway 30. A second campus, Iowa Valley Grinnell, is located in Grinnell, IA. Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls is also part of the Iowa Valley Community College District. These three unique campuses offer students a variety of educational offerings in different settings.

Marshalltown Community College has partnership agreements with the University of Northern Iowa, Iowa State University and the University of Iowa. These partnerships help students make sure they are taking the right courses at MCC that will transfer easily to the Regent schools. Students get advising from both MCC advisors and their Regent schools to ensure the process to transfer is smooth.
