It is strongly recommended that you purchase a student health insurance plan for medical expenses you might have while studying in the U.S.; doctor visits and prescriptions are expensive. If you already have insurance that will cover you while you are in the U.S., you may use that.
Please send all of the above materials together at ONE TIME. It will be less expensive and much more efficient for processing. NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN on your application until all of the above items have been received. Use this checklist to help you make sure you have all the information you need to apply to MCC.
If you are applying for an F-1 visa for the first time, you must pay the SEVIS fee prior to making your embassy appointment. All International students applying to MCC must pay this $200 fee. The SEVIS fee collection form has been designated as Form I-901. This fee is not to be paid to MCC but to United State Immigration and Customs. All information regarding this fee is located at: https://www.FMJfee.com.
