MCC is one of only several community colleges nationwide participating in a unique exchange program organized by Youth for Understanding (YFU) International Exchange. YFU is dedicated to international understanding and world peace. Upon their arrival, students will live with volunteer host families.. Students take part in all aspects of college life, from attending classes to joining sports and club activities. The host family provides room, board, love and guidance, and the experience of what everyday life is like in the United States. YFU coordinator is Katie Kothenbeutel.
