Food Service
The Tiger Shack is MCC's on-campus food service provider. The Tiger Shack is located in the Student Union and is open from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Thursday and 7 am to 2 pm on Fridays while MCC classes are in session. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
Summer menu and hours:
Breakfast: Open 9:00 am to 10:30 am Mon.-Fri.
-Eggs, toast, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, sausage or ham. Buttermilk pancakes and hash browns, coffee and fresh fruit.
Lunch: Open 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Mon.-Fri.
-Burgers, chicken strips, grilled chicken sandwiches, and salad bar.
2012-2013 Meal Memberships for students
Two convenient membership plans are available to all students.
Board Membership
Choose from 9 or 14 meals per week each semester, or a 100 meal block plan.
9 meals: $725; 14 meals: $950; 100 meal block plan: $650
• All you can eat!
• Meals are loaded to your student ID card
• Unused meals cannot be transferred to following weeks
• Can be charged to financial aid if available
Block Membership
Load whatever dollar amount you want onto your student ID card
• Good for any meal, any time, same as cash!
• Must be used in the same semester the plan was purchased
• Can be charged to financial aid if available
• Purchase a plan at the Tiger Shack
Changing a meal membership
To make a change to your Dining Plan Membership free of charge, contact Residence Life and Housing prior to the first day of fall or spring classes. Dining Membership changes are accepted the first two weeks of each semester for the current semester.

Hours for meals
Breakfast: 7:30 to 9:30 am, Monday through Friday
Lunch: 11 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Dinner: 5 to 7:30 pm, Monday through Thursday
The Tiger Shack will be open in between these meals offering ala carte items.
In addition, the Tiger Shack offers “Casual Meal Rates." Casual meal rates are $4.50/breakfast, $6.00/lunch, and $7.00/dinner (plus tax).
