Roles of Residence Life Staff
Director of Residence Life
The Director of Residence Life is directly responsible for managing the overall residential program at MCC. With the talents of the residential staff, this individual works in designing and implementing programs within the complexes, and overseeing the maintenance, housekeeping, safety and disciplinary standards. The Director also guides the residential staff towards the fulfillment of the MCC Residential Philosophy.
Residence Complex Coordinators
Residence Complex Coordinators (RCs) are professional staff members that live and work in the residential complexes while also serving as assistant coaches to support the MCC Athletics Program. They are responsible for the day to day operations of the complexes to which they are assigned, including providing support services directly to students, supervising Resident Assistants (RAs), overseeing all educational, social, and operational activities.
Resident Assistants are full-time students who live in the residence halls and are responsible for a particular floor/complex of residents. They provide support, act as a resource for students, coordinate social and educational programs, and work with one another as a staff to enforce college policy within the residential complexes.
