Head Coach Jarret HeilCoach Jarret Heil became MCC's first cross country coach during the 2009 inaugural season. He grew up in the Marshalltown area running cross country and track in high school. He also ran cross country and track at Central College in Pella, where he was the team’s co-captain. After earning a business management degree with a Spanish minor, Coach Heil served on U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley’s staff in Washington, D.C. and U.S. Representative Tom Latham’s staff in Ames. He currently serves as Marshall County Treasurer. Jarret and his wife, Dawna, live in rural Haverhill with their daughter Lillian. |

Assistant Coach Erick EggersAssistant Coach Erick Eggers joined the MCC Cross Country team during the 2011 season. He grew up in the Marshalltown area running cross country and track at Marshalltown High School. He also competed at the collegiate level as an unattached runner while in college. After earning an AA Degree from MCC he transferred to UNI and earned his B.A. Degree with a Minor in Military Science. Coach Eggers is a serving member of the Iowa Army National Guard for over 14 years and Commands a unit in Cedar Rapids. He was the Marshalltown High School boys' assistant |
