MCC Softball Coach

Head Coach: Jeff LambJeff played baseball for the MCC Tigers for two seasons, Drexel University for one year, and West Chester University for one year, graduating in 2005. He has served as a graduate assistant at Georgia College and State University and as a student assistant for the West Chester Golden Rams. This will be Jeff’s fifth year as the Tigers head coach. Since taking over the program, the Tigers have broke over 30 individual and team records. He resides in Marshalltown with his wife, Rachel and daughter Eloise. |

Assistant Coach: Meghan TomlinsonCoach Tomlinson is originally from Fort Worth, TX, where she attended Castleberry High School, graduating in 2005. She continued her education and softball career at Texas Women’s University for two years until she moved to the Midwest, where she finished her education and softball career at Grand View University in Des Moines. Coach Tomlinson holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management. This will be her third year coaching for the MCC Tigers. |

Assistant Coach: Sheila FinnellCoach Sheila Finnell, is coming to the Marshalltown Community College softball program after a two year stint with Grand View University Softball and two years with Southeastern Community College as a stand out softball player. She was an integral part of the Southeastern team that went on to Nationals in Utah in 2009, and a Grand View team that was consistently in the top of their conference year in and year out. Coach Finnell is currently finishing up her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Grand View and will focus on working with the catchers and hitters here at MCC. This will be her second year at MCC. |
